Where to Spend New Year’s Eve This Year

The month of November has come to an end. Around this time, many people begin to wonder what they’ll be doing for New Year’s Eve - or more importantly, where they’re going.

If your new year’s resolution is to travel more, you might as well start before 2024 begins! Here is a short list of amazing places to celebrate the start of the new year.

Orlando, Florida (or Anaheim, California)

When we say Orlando or Anaheim, we really mean Disney World and Disneyland. What’s a better place to be than the happiest place on earth to ring in the new year? The magical theme park in either city is a great choice for a family to celebrate New Year’s together. After a fun-filled day of riding rides and hanging out with Mickey Mouse, grab some churros for the whole family and watch the incredible fireworks to close out 2023.

Las Vegas, Nevada

End the year with a bang in Vegas! Sin City is well known for its active nightlife, so if you like to party, you’ve got to do it especially big on New Year’s Eve. There is plenty to do on the strip on this day. Get tickets to the Hard Rock Cafe’s New Year’s Eve Party for the time of your life or stay at the Plaza Hotel to enjoy their very own fireworks show. The brand new Fontainebleau Las Vegas will also be open just in time to ring in the new year with a live performance by Grammy-nominated artist Post Malone. Just about anywhere you go on the strip will be a great time!

New York, New York

Watching the ball drop on New Year’s Eve in New York is on just about everybody’s bucket list. It may sound cliché for some people at this point, but come on, you’ve got to experience it at least once - just so you can say that you have!

Paris, France

What better place to share a New Year’s kiss with your significant other than in the city of love? Set your intentions for the new year together in one the most romantic destinations in the world. Plus, the Eiffel Tower becomes even more stunning when it’s paired with fireworks - talk about the perfect Instagram backdrop!

Goa, India

Bet you never thought to spend your New Year’s Eve in India, but Goa is definitely one of the most fun and unique places to celebrate. Known as the party destination of the country, you’ll get to have an unforgettable time at the beach with gorgeous fireworks going off in the sky to ring in the new year.

Cancun, Mexico

Cancun is one of our favorites and we know it’s yours too, so you may as well spend New Year’s there! Switch out your glass of champagne for a shot of tequila as you count down the seconds ‘til the clock strikes twelve.
