This past week, we took a group of almost 80 of our adventurous SVH Travelers on a 6-day cruise to Cabo and Ensenada aboard the Carnival Panorama! The entire trip was a blast, and we are so happy that we got to provide our guests with such a wonderful time.
Experiencing Cabo was especially amazing, particularly for the part of our group that joined us on our Cabo Tour with Edvin. When the ship arrived at Cabo San Lucas, we onboarded water shuttles to be transported to the land. By the docks, we met with our local guide, Osmond, who led us to the bus that we’d be shuttled around in for the day. It was a full day tour, so we saw and did quite a lot! Here were our favorite parts of the Cabo Tour with Edvin!
The Glass Factory
We immersed ourselves in the captivating world of artisan craftsmanship at Cabo San Lucas' renowned Glass Factory. Walking in was like entering a different planet, one made of colorful and vibrant glass. We were seated in the rows of benches facing the glass furnaces. The skilled glassmakers went through the entire process of crafting a glass art piece for us while our guide explained it all to us in English. By the end of the demonstration, we were presented with an adorable glass turtle wearing a sombrero! Afterwards, we got to walk around the shop section of the factory and purchase some of the beautiful works that are for sale. Plus, the gorgeous space provided for some amazing photo-ops!
Lunch at Stop Light Comida Mexicana
At some point, we were all quite hungry. Thankfully, lunch was included in our tour! We dove into deliciousness at Stop Light Comida Mexicana, where we were served an appetizer, entree and dessert (all included in the price of the tour)! Nestled in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, this vibrant eatery offered more than just a meal—it offered an experience. As we savored each bite of traditional fare, from sizzling fajitas to savory enchiladas, we felt the warmth of Mexican hospitality infused in every moment. As Armenians, it was a special moment to embrace togetherness over a hearty meal. For dessert, we were served some perfectly sweet and fluffy flan - next time we’ll have to have Armenian coffee catered too!
The Glass Bottom Boat Tour
The glass bottom boat tour was everybody’s favorite part of the entire day! We embarked on a journey of discovery beneath the azure waters of Cabo San Lucas aboard a Glass Bottom Boat Tour. As the crystal-clear waves lapped against the boat's hull, we peered through the glass bottom and into a world teeming with marine life. We circled around the peninsula that’s home to Lover’s Beach, Divorce Beach, and the famous El Arco. Taking in all this beauty from up close was truly an unforgettable experience!
