Our Roots

American Dream

Immigrating from Armenia to the land of opportunity, 25-year old Vic Sarkisyan found himself in Glendale, CA with a strong passion for travel. An individual determined to change the tourism industry, Vic opened the doors in 1993 with nothing but a desk to his name.

Although the business was operating at a loss for the first few years, his persistence in providing travelers with a better experience was vivid, as he worked two other minimum-wage jobs to scrape up enough cash to sustain the monthly rent.

Our Foundation

Hard Work Pays Off

As several years passed by, SVH Travel began making a name for itself in the local community. Business exponentially grew as travelers began spreading the word of their positive experiences.

To ensure the highest level of service, Vic always redirected the office phone to his cellular, in the case of emergency calls. SVH Travel was responsive 24 hours-a-day. By 2007, we were awarded Apple Vacation's Crystal Agency Award, which officially signified the firm as one the America's top travel companies.
